久石让全新专辑《Joe Hisaishi Conducts》于8月8日发行。本专辑于东京三得利音乐厅现场录制，收录了史蒂夫·莱许(Steve Reich)的作品《The Desert Music》，以及久石让本人创作的《The End of the World》。这些作品由“未来管弦乐古典团”(Future Orchestra Classics)、东京爱乐合唱团，以及女高音艾拉·泰勒(Ella Taylor)共同演出。
